Well, here I am again....
It's another year and I'm another year older....39. Do I like that number? NOT! Yes, age is just a number, but I will be 40 next year, people! I have found myself on the hunt for the perfect anti-aging products....I'm growing my hair down to my backside, again, while I still can and get away with it.....etc... Just trying to hold on to my youth, I guess. lol I really want to get motivated, again, and get back to exercising and losing weight. It has been my goal for the last 5 or so years to be fit by 40....I only have a year left to accomplish that. Please! Someone motivate me!! I beg you!! ;)
I hope that this year will be a better one than last year....It has been tough for my family all around. As always, I hope to get closer to God....see ALL(extended family included) of my family follow the Lord..I hope I can be a shining light to them. I hope that sicknesses will be healed, finances can be gained, hearts can have their desires and that God can heal situations where no solution seems possible. I know that with God ALL things are possible...Praise his name!
Hopefully I will post more blogs this year....I will try my best.
Happy New Year everyone! God bless us all...We truly need him now more than ever!

Goodbye Gracie Girl

I have put off posting about the death of my boxer, Gracie....She died on August 28th after the doctor found that she had actually been poisoned. When we heard this we cried and cried...Even my husband cried. There was no saving her so we made the hard decision to put her down. She was only four years old. I can't imagine the kind of person that would harm an animal. We buried her in the side yard and sang "Amazing Grace" at her funeral. She will be greatly missed. Here are the last photos of her...taken a few days before she died.

Poor Gracie!
Our female boxer, Gracie, has not been feeling well lately. I noticed that she had lost weight and was acting very lethargic. All she wanted to do was lay around and when she did get up....She acted like it was all she could do. This was highly unusual because she is very active. I have been wanting to take her to the vet to be checked out so this morning I bathed her, stuck her in the car and headed to the doctor. She is very ill and has lost 12lbs. She will be staying in the vet hospital until Friday or Saturday....When she comes home she will be pretty much house bound for 30 days. The doctor said she will re-cover so that is a very good thing. I hope you get better Gracie girl!
Always on the lookout....
This is her usual active self......Ready for mischief!
